Name: Cataract Kush ( DNA Genetics)
Dispensary: Green Works SD
Grade: A-
Type: Mostly Indica
Lineage: L.A. Confidential crossed with OG Kush
Price: $20/gram, $55/8th, $110/ quarter, $210 half ounce /$400 ounce
Looks: Round, chunky, purple and green nugs. Heavily frosted buds with a few pale brown hairs. Brittle to the touch, but sticky close to the stems.
Smell: Musty, earthy, peppery and slightly sweet. The scent stung my nostrils.
Taste: A musty, peppery flavor. Smooth vapor with moderate lung expansion. The peppery taste lingered on my tongue after vaporizing.
Buzz: Trippy peaceful buzz. Clear headed, spacey, calming and mildly euphoric. Had me quietly entertained on the couch with my mind active and wandering. Good for the late afternoon or evening.
Summary: An excellent cross with striking purple nugs and a buzz that balanced the effects of L.A. Confidential and OG Kush nicely.
